Principal's Message

Dear Belle Heth Families,

I am so honored to serve as Principal at Belle Heth Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year. The Belle Heth school community is special, and I am excited to welcome our students, parents, faculty and staff for what will surely be a wonderful school year!

At Belle Heth, we believe in providing a safe, peaceful, and respectful environment with high academic expectations so that ALL of our students can learn and grow. We are fortunate to have a staff of passionate educators who understand the value of relationship building and student engagement.

Our priority is to help grow innovative learners who are respectful, self-aware, and prepared for the future. We understand that many of the careers we are preparing students for might not even exist yet. In order to prepare students for an ever-changing world, we incorporate the VDOE’s 5 C’s (Creative Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Citizenship Skills) throughout each part of the school day.

We understand that for students to reach their full potential, the entire school community must work together. I encourage parents to stay in close contact with your student’s teachers. I also encourage families and community members to attend as many school events as possible and seek volunteer opportunities. We have a dedicated Parent Student Association (PSA) which would welcome any and all help you could provide. Personally, it is important for you to know that you have an open invitation to discuss your child’s education with me, and I invite you to call, write, or email with any comments, questions, or concerns you may have.

I look forward to working together with our entire school community so we can provide the absolute best education for our students during the 2023-2024 school year.

Sincerely,

Cole Wilder

Principal
